Folkestone Nepalese Community (FNC) CIO
The Board of Trustees provides governance, oversight, and strategic direction for the Folkestone Nepalese Community (FNC). Trustees work in partnership with the Executive Committee and the Charity & Centre Manager to ensure the organisation operates effectively, remains compliant with Charity Commission regulations, and delivers meaningful impact to the community.

Trustee (Chair)Chair of Trustees Provides overall governance leadership, chairs the Board of Trustees, and ensures the strategic direction, compliance, and accountability of the organisation, working collaboratively with all parties while maintaining clear oversight of governance.
Mr Bikram Rai
Trustee (Treasurer)Trustee Treasurer Supports financial governance, accounts, reporting, and compliance, working closely with the Charity & Centre Manager, who manages day-to-day restricted grants and programme funding, ensuring appropriate financial oversight and accountability.

Trustee – Ambassador & OutreachActs as an ambassador of FNC, supporting outreach, partnerships, and community representation, and strengthening relationships with local and wider stakeholders.
Mr Nabin Siwa
Trustee – HR & EmploymentFormer Councillor and Retired British Officer – Provides oversight on HR governance, employment practices, and policy compliance, supporting the organisation in maintaining appropriate staff management standards.
Mr Chandra Gurung
Trustee – Fundraising & FinanceSupports fundraising strategy, financial activities, and organisational coordination, including community events.
Mr Jhapindra Thapa
Trustee – Fundraising ActivitiesSupports fundraising activities and events organised by the organisation.
Mr Rajen Limbu
Trustee – FinanceSupports financial oversight, budgeting, and financial governance, working in coordination with the Charity & Centre Manager to ensure effective financial management.
Capt (Retd) Ganesh Rai
Trustee – Fundraising & SecretarySupports fundraising strategy and organisational coordination, contributing to the sustainability and governance of the organisation.
