VJ Day commemorative services
Friday 15 Aug 2025 has been a busy yet deeply rewarding day for the FNC, with our participation in three VJ Day commemorative services at Kent County Council, Folkestone Town, and the RBL Elham Branch — a level of commitment the FNC has not undertaken before.
It was an honour to hear the Gurkhas and FNC mentioned in the VJ Day speeches at all three services — a proud moment for both our members and the FNC as a whole.
It is an important demonstration of our shared commitment, unity, and solidarity.
