The Folkestone Nepalese Community (FNC) proudly holds the Nepalese Food & Farm Festival annually, in partnership with Equator Festival and Pent Farm.
This festival celebrates community farming, Nepalese cuisine, and the spirit of togetherness in the beautiful setting of Postling.

🥇 1st Festival

📅 Saturday, 5 October 2024
The first Food & Farm Festival marked the beginning of a new tradition, bringing together our members, families, and friends to celebrate food, farming, and culture.


🥈 2nd Festival

📅 Sunday, 21 September 2025
Highlights included:

  • 🥗 Delicious Nepalese dishes prepared with fresh vegetables from our Pent Farm Community Garden

  • 🚶‍♂️ Guided tours of the garden (25+ member plots in scenic Postling)

  • 👫 A truly welcoming event, open to members, families, friends, and the wider community (promoted by Equator Festival)

  • 🍴 Food & drinks were free – with kind donations supporting the FNC Fund & Community Garden Project
